Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Tuesday, October 05, 2010 Ned Yazzie, 82, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in Winslow. Mr. Yazzie was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Black Mesa. Mr. Yazzie is survived by his wife, Betty Yazzie of Black Mesa; daughters Lena Bradley of Kayenta and Marie Willie of Chino Valley; sons Jerry Yazzie of Leupp, Harry Yazzie of Black Mesa, Kee Yazzie of Holbrook and Anderson Yazzie of Williams; sisters Lilly Crank, Etta May Yazzie, Alta Albert, Bessie Luna and Annie Herrera, all of Black Mesa; 23 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Mr. Yazzie will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Black Mesa Bible Church. Paul Chief will officiate, with interment to follow at the family plot in Black Mesa.
