Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, October 5, 2010 Robert Kenneth Miller, 84, went to join those who have gone before him Sept. 29, 2010, in Lake Havasu City. He was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Hammond, Ind., to Pete and Faye (Gallagher) Miller. Bob served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army from June 1944 until his honorable discharge in June 1946. He married his wife, Marian (Cotner) Miller, in Indiana Nov. 22, 1946. Bob and his family resided in Van Wert, Ohio, for seven years prior to moving to Ft. Wayne, Ind., where Bob worked for the Magnavox Co. He then moved to California, where he became a field representative for the company until his retirement. He was very active in the Masons and was past Master of the Temple Lodge 51 in Oracle, Ariz., recently receiving the honor of 60 years of service to the fraternity. He was also a past patron of the Eastern Star, Galero Chapter 49, in Oracle, Ariz. Bob and Marian moved to Lake Havasu City in 2006, coming from Oracle, Ariz., where they resided for 23 years. Bob will be deeply missed. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marian Miller of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Marcia (Jerry) Etzler, of Convoy, Ohio; sons, Robert K. Miller, of Lake Havasu City, Roger K. (Laneva) Miller of Wofford Heights, CA. and Ronald K. (Diane) Miller, of Fairfield, Calif.; sister, Elaine Ericson, of Sterling, Colo.; brothers, Dennis and Donald Miller, of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Anthony Miller, Wess Miller, Chad (Sara) Etzler, Curtis Etzler, Kara Miller, Jessa (Jonathon) Lunsford and Kirklyn Miller; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Gabriel, Samuel and Nickola Etzler, Hanah and Chance Miller and Lexie Lunsford and Halie Miller. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Pete Miller; sister, Merilyn Gallagher; and a nephew, Garry Gallagher. Burial will take place at 11:20 a.m. Friday at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev.
