Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, October 5, 2010 Daniel G. O’Connell Aug. 22, 1951 – Oct. 1, 2010 Daniel G. O’Connell passed away Friday in Kingman, Ariz. Dan was born Aug. 22, 1951, in Madison, Wis., to Maurice Daniel and Mary Adaline (McCarty) O’Connell. Dan moved from Madison to Lake Havasu City in 1973. He most recently worked as a machine operator for Sterilite. In his spare time, Dan enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dogs. Dan is survived by his brothers, Thomas O’Connell and his wife, Bobbi, of Oroville, Calif., James O’Connell and his wife, Anne, of Madison, Wis., William O’Connell and his wife, Dawn, also of Madison, Wis., and Patrick O’Connell and his wife, Ildi, of Aurora, Colo.; sisters, Margaret Quam and her husband, Mark, of De Pere, Wis., Kathleen Bennett and her husband, Charles, of Racine, Wis., Maureen Day and her husband, Jeff, of Africa, and Mary Johnson and her husband Steve of Hilliard, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews; and his friends in Lake Havasu City. A memorial mass will be Friday, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.leitz-frazefuneralhome.com.
