The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 8, 2010 Norma Patricia Adams, 86, of Show Low died Sept. 21, 2010, in Phoenix. She was born March 15, 1924, in Craddock, Va. She attended Elliot Jr. High, Eastern High, and Wilson Teacher's College, all in Washington, D.C. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Frederick F. Adams; one son, Steven (Laura) of Dallas, Texas; two daughters: Kelsey and Jennifer (Norman Brisker) of Austin, Texas; two grandsons: Christopher Adams and Matthew Brisker; granddaughter Courtney Adams; brother Herbert Schmidt; two sisters, Jean Bartley and Hope Barrett, both of Alexandria, Va. and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lillian Schmidt and two sisters, Faith Van Scoyoc and June Weber.
