Angelita Lang, age 84 of San Carlos, Ariz., passed away on Sept. 26, 2010 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz. She was born in San Carlos on July 4, 1926, the daughter of Nelson and Lydia (Sisto) Polk.
Angelita attended Rice Day School as a child. She enjoyed sewing and taking care of her family. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy Polk and Raphael Polk. She is survived by her husband, Paul Lang; her daughters, Lolita (Baxter) Salter, Louisa (Firman) Talahytewa, and Lisa Pilling; her sons, Paulinus, Leon and Mark Mull; and her sister, Victoria Martin.
A wake was held on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 at Paul Lang’s residence.
A mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment is at Elgo Cemetery in San Carlos.
Assisting the family is Lamont Mortuary.
