Edna Lamoreaux Cotter, 84, of Gilbert, passed away June 8, 2002 in Mesa, Ariz. She was born in Eden, Ariz., and graduated from ASU in 1970.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie. Her children give honor and gratitude for her loving heart and generous artistic service. Known by many as "Aunt Edna", she was librarian at Greenfield Elementary School in Gilbert and leaves a legacy of paintings and artistic creations.
She is survived by her children Barbara Jean and Dale Lofgreen of Mesa, Charles Cotter, Gilbert, Judy and Gordon Rees of Sandy, Utah, Carolyn and Don Riedlinger, John Cotter, and by her sister Vida Hatch, all of Gilbert. She has 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Edna leaves a large extended family and many friends who love her dearly.
Services were Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1055 N. Lindsay Road in Gilbert, Ariz. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
