Bill Jason Waddell, of Prescott Valley, our beloved son and brother, lost his life in a tragic motor vehicle accident in Jerome on Sept. 10, 2010. He was 50 years old.
Born on Aug. 21, 1960, in Pasadena, Calif., he was the son of Don and Diane (Brower) Waddell of Prescott Valley. He resided in Huntington Beach through his early childhood.
Jason loved the outdoors and enjoyed woodworking and making wooden religious crosses for family and friends. Jason was a friend to all and tried to help all he met. He especially liked working with the handicapped and was loved and appreciated by all he worked with in Siskiyou, Calif., and Yavapai, Ariz., counties.
Most recently he was a member of Moose Lodge #319 and worked there as a custodian.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Denise Parker of Spokane, Wash., and Leslie Waddell of Phoenix, Ariz.; three uncles; three aunts; and many other relatives and friends.
Rest in peace in heaven, beloved son and brother.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at the Moose Lodge #319, 6501 E. 6th St., Prescott Valley, Ariz., (928) 772-3700.
The Waddell family would like to thank the Moose Lodge for their kindness with offering the memorial service; the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, especially Sgt. Rick Barnes, for going beyond the call of duty providing comfort and service to our family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jason's memory may be made to the Moose Lodge at the above address.
