Fred Furubotten passed away on Sept. 19, 2010. Fred was born on Dec. 18, 1942, in Rapid City, S.D. 

Fred had a great love for his family, which includes his sweetheart, June; his daughters and their spouses, Sherry and Pat McCarty, Robin and David Hausfeld, and Karin and Heath Macie; his sons, Brian Dazen and Robert Johnson; along with 12 grandchildren; and his siblings, John Furubotten, Michael Furubotten and Kathleen Neel. Fred's smile, jokes and loving kindness will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Desert View Bible Church, 105 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts may be made to the family.
