Patrick Charles Dooley, age 84, passed away on Sept. 28, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born on Dec. 8, 1925, in Bellevue, Ky., to John Stephen and Bertha (Eckert) Dooley.
Patrick served in the U.S. Army as a ball turret gunner on the B-17 over England and Europe. Afterward, he worked as an airline captain and retired from Northwest (now Delta) Airlines. He enjoyed golf, photography, oil painting, traveling and anything related to WWII.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters Mary Teresa and Kathleen; son-in-law Philip; and granddaughters Rachel, Katy and Grace. He has one surviving brother, Richard.
A Celebration of Life (wake) will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at the Prescott Resort in Prescott. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 N. Fleury Road, Prescott, Ariz.
