GRAY, Frieda Clara

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 28, 2008 Frieda Clara Gray, of Prescott Valley, died on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008. She was the daughter of William and Mary Dennis, born on Sept. 5, 1917 in Evansville, Ind. Frieda’s life was filled with joy both given and received through her steadfast love and commitment to her faith, family and friends. She was the youngest of seven siblings, now deceased, and is survived by her four children and their families, Robert N. Gray of Prescott Valley, Dennis W. Gray of Mesa, Gary D. Gray of Tempe and Mary E. Roraff of West Salem, Wis. Frieda has 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren, all of whom have never had any doubt that they were, and still are, the apple of her eye. Frieda’s husband, Robert, preceded her in death on April 9, 1999. Visitation will be 9 a.m. followed by a Memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2008 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 300 N. Navajo Drive, Prescott Valley. Frieda will be laid to rest next to her husband of 51 years at 2 p.m. in Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with final arrangements.
