SPAETH, Paul T. (Pop)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ May 28, 2007 Paul T. "Pop" Spaeth died May 19, 2007, in Tucson. He was born Feb. 19, 1927, in Wisconsin. Pop spent 20 years in the Army. After retiring from active duty, he spent the next 20 years working for the U.S. Army Intelligence School at Ft. Huachuca. Paul spent his summers in Lakeside. He is survived by his grandsons, Gary Guinter (Denise) and Terry Guinter (Kimberly); granddaughter Linda Guinter; great-grandson Christopher Guinter; great-granddaughters Beth Campaile (Chris), Nicole Guinter and Victoria Guinter; and great-great-granddaughter Madison Campanile. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alta, son Bill, daughter-in-law Mary and grandson Larry. Funeral services were held May 28 at the St. Pius X Church and Casa de los Niños, both in Tucson.
