The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, October 11, 2010 Robert Dean Brown, 60, of Wenden, Ariz., born June 18, 1950 in Williams, Ariz., passed away Oct. 9, 2010 at the Bob Stump VA Medical Center in Prescott. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with final arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, October 20, 2010 Robert Dean "Bobby" Brown, 60, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at the Veterans Administration hospital in Prescott. Mr. Brownd was born June 18, 1950, in Williams, and graduated from Williams High School in 1968. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he served in combat during the Vietnam War. When he returned from the war, he was employed with Mountain Bell Telephone Co. He then went to work on the Alaskan pipeline with many of his friends from Williams, where he had the time of his life. He then became a lineman with IBEW. He climbed power lines throughout the Southwest. At the time of his death, he lived in Wenden, where he was self-employed. His favorite pastime was fishing. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Jeanne; son Jory S. Brown (Ronda); daughter Ashlee Brown; seven grandchildren; and sisters Mone' Gonzalez and Shawna Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frieda and Haley Gonzalez, and brother Bill Brown. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Williams. Burial with military honors will follow at the Williams Cemetery. A memorial reception will be at the old Sultana Theater.
