SUSAN, Mary

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 19, 2007 Mary Susan went home to be with the Lord, April 16, 2007, in Whiteriver. She was born Jan. 15, 1922, in Whiteriver, to parents Alma Paxson and Edwin Christaney. Mary was a homemaker. Some of her interests included sewing, cooking and camping. She was also a member of the Catholic Church. Mary is survived by sons Thereman and Theresa (Tonay) Susan of Cedar Creek; Davis Jr. and Lana (Crowchild) Susan of Calgary, Canada; Major and Charlotte (Johnson) Susan of Hondah; and Daniel and Carlene (Keeto) Susan of Whiteriver; daughters Faye Susan of Whiteriver, and Rosemary (Susan) and Allen Alekay of Whiteriver. She had 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Susan Sr. A wake will start Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. at Another World No. 1406. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, at 10 a.m. at the JFK School in Cedar Creek. Interment will be at the Mourning Dove Cemetery in Cedar Creek. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor/Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
