GOESLING, Richard (Stretch)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 23, 2007 Richard "Stretch" Goesling, 56, of Albuquerque, N.M., went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 4, 2007. He was born and raised in St. Johns and later attended college at New Mexico University in Las Cruces, N.M. Stretch was a rancher who lived by the "cowboy" creed of love for his family, respect for others and passion for the Lord. He will be loved and missed greatly. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Linda; children Tammi Jagermann (David), Tracy Boray (Kevin), Treasure Heidt (Shawn) and Shayne Goesling (Coby). He was a loving "Opah" to five grandchildren, Lissie, Ricky, Eliza, David and Jonathan. Stretch is also survived by his mom, Valera Goesling; sister Helen Goesling Duncan and brother Clifford Thorn. He was preceded in death by his dad, Alfred Goesling; and his brothers, Robert Lee and Jonnie Thorn. A viewing was held at French Mortuary in Albuquerque, N.M., on Sunday, April 8. Services were held at Calvary Chapel, also in Albuquerque, Tuesday, April 10, with cremation following.
