Jerry Russell Mollet, 55, of Overgaard died Friday, March 16, 2007, in Show Low.
Mollet, a pipe fitter for Western Power, was born June 4, 1951, in Quincy, Ill. His family moved to Phoenix when Mollet was an infant. He lived in various locations in Arizona throughout his childhood.
Following school he joined the Local 469 Pipe Fitters Union and worked with them exclusively until his passing. Mollet and his wife, Eva, met when they were just 4 years old. They married about 15 years later on June 18, 1971.
After the marriage, they followed Mollet's work around the state, settling in Heber in 1988. He loved to hunt and fish and also enjoyed supporting his children in their athletics by attending all their games.
Mollet is survived by wife Eva Mollet of Overgaard; children Thomas Mollet of Overgaard, John Mollet (Ana) of Casa Grande, Dennis Mollet of Newberry Springs, Calif., and Eva Clark (Shawn) of Overgaard; parents Wallace and Virgina Mollet of Grants, N.M.; sisters Peggy Marsh of Grants, N.M., and Sally Snyder (Keith) of Houghton, Mich.; brother James Mollet (Dawn) of Grants, N.M.; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Annabelle.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007, at First Southern Baptist Church of Overgaard. Interment will be in the Heber Cemetery.
