The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 29, 2007 David Victor Yarn, 75, died March 26, 2007. He was born in Atlanta, Ga., Sept. 29, 1931, to Herbert and Monty Yarn (now deceased). David was a faithful servant in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all his adult life. He had served as a bishop, patriarch and temple president and sealer. David is survived by his wife, Catherine and their four children, Marshall, Joel, Benjamine and Davina; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Herbert Yarn and Clifton Montgomery Yarn and one sister, Marjorie Catherine Shirley. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Victor. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 30, at the Taylor Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A visitation was held Thursday, March 29, at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake.
