HAMBLIN, Larry Nevar

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 5, 2007 Larry Nevar Hamblin, 79, died March 31, 2007, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Eagar. He was born April 24, 1927, in Eagar to Willard Otto Hamblin and Lillian Lee. Larry served in the United States Army and worked in road maintenance for ADOT. He loved his family and friends, enjoyed riding and being a true cowboy. He is survived by his sons Kayle (Becky) Hamblin of Eagar; Mark (Lenna) Hamblin of Nutrioso; daughter Christine (Will) Vowell of Gilbert; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and one sister Afton Church of Calif. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Fay Davis Hamblin; and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center of Eagar, with a visitation one-hour prior. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
