Michael Loren Sangren

Michael left this earth on Oct. 11 and is now held in God's arms. He was born and grew up in La Crescenta, Calif., and graduated from Crescenta Valley High in 1987.
Michael moved to Lake Havasu City in 1996 where he worked for Crazy Horse Campground and Nautical Inn. In 1999, he moved to Fort Mohave and worked for the Colorado Belle for the next 11 years.
Michael enjoyed drag racing and NASCAR as well as attending car shows with his 1968 Suburban. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and many, many friends.
Michael is survived by his parents, Loren and Ann Sangren, of Lake Havasu City; his beloved brother, Darren and sister-in-law Kela, of Acton, Calif.; Grandmother Eleanor; uncles, Myron (Diane) Sangren, of Lynden, Wash., Barton (Susie) Sangren, of Lake Havasu City, Carlo Christensen, of Glendale, Calif., Helge (Karis) Christensen, of Calabassas, Calif.; and eight cousins.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Helga and Julius Christensen; Uncle Ole Christensen; and grandfather, Conrad Sangren.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. at the chapel at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and a celebration in California, time and place to be announced.
