Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, Phoenix, Arizona ~ 08/05/2010 Joan D. Fallon (July 2, 1937 ~ August 4, 2010) Joan D. Fallon, resident of Scottsdale, formerly of Glendale, AZ, passed away on August 4, 2010. Joan was born July 2, 1937 in Purcell, Oklahoma, to W.L. "Bud" and Rubye May Simser. She was a graduate of ASU, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonists and Delta Kappa Gamma. Joan was an educator in the Isaac School District for many years and is remembered fondly by several generations of her students. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 30 years, Thomas James Fallon. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Jurewicz and son-in-law, Tony, and her beloved granddaughters. She was an awesome mom, grandmother, and friend, and she touched the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009.
