Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery, Tucson, Arizona ~ October 13th 2010 SAMPLES, Andrew Lewis Andy Samples passed away suddenly in his home on October 9, 2010. He was born in Tucson, Arizona to Norman and Marguerite (Toni) Samples on June 12, 1949. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; daughter, Andrea; and son Alan. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, John (Sally), Marguerite, Martha and Jim; and numerous nephews, nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Sue and nephew, Micah. Andy was a kind man with a heart of gold who did what he could to help others. He was a past president of The Fraternal Order of Eagles #180 and an employee of TUSD. He truly loved his family and they loved him as well. Andy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be greatly missed. Services will be Friday, October 14, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile with Bishop Michael Burke presiding. The interment to follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to American Heart Association in Andy's name. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
