The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 2, 2007 Joyce Monk Moore-Frederick, 77, of Show Low, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, at her home. Joyce was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Coolidge, the daughter of Walter and Bonnie (Ridgway) Monk. She was raised in Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd Moore in 1974 and the Rev. Joe Frederick in 1999; stepdaughter, Betty Mann; and grandson, Joshua Mann. Her survivors include six sons, Steven Moore (Karin), John Moore (Donna), Kelly Moore (Rita), Tracy Moore (Nancy), Patrick Moore and Chris Moore; four stepsons, Joe Frederick III (Stephanie), Robert Frederick (Wanda), Gary Lee and Billy Frederick; stepdaughter, Gail Barrett; four brothers, Ed, Harry, Ronald and Hank Monk; two sisters, Hazel and Rena; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Phillip Mann; several nieces and nephews; two aunts; an uncle and countless cousins. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler, under the direction of Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
