Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Saturday, October 16, 2010 May 2, 1921 – Aug. 1, 2010 Helen Miller was born May 2, 1921, in Erie, Pa., and lived in Long Beach for 56 years. Helen obtained her masters degree. She worked and retired from the Los Angeles Court System. In 2008, she moved to Lake Havasu City where she passed away Aug. 1. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Willard; her sister-in-law, Betty Hiles; three children, Walter Farley, Laurel Richardson, and Glenda Martin; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. The viewing and service took place on Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively at McKenzies Mortuary, 3843 E. Anaheim St. Long Beach, CA 90804. Aug. 20, at 10:45 a.m. a service took place at Riverside National Cemetery where her ashes were placed next to her husband.
