GLENDENNING, Leon C.

29 April 1901 - 31 October 1979 Sun City -- Leon C. Glendenning, 78, who retired as assistant manager of the income tax division after 37 years with Union Oil Co. in California, died Oct. 31, 1979, in Maryvale Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Glendenning, 10547 Snead Drive, was a member of Masonic Lodge 322 in Alhambra, Calif., and a 50-year member and an original guard of Al Mahdikah Shrine Temple in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Helen; stepson, Jack Evans; a brother; and three children. Services will be in Alhambra, Menke Funeral Home announced. The Arizona Republic Saturday, November 3, 1979.
