Mary Ruth Young, born in Hollywood, AR, on May 4, 1927, died on October 15, 2010. She was 83. Nan Mary was a 1945 graduate of Amphi High School and worked for 20 years at the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and William McAnally, brothers, Jerry and Sam McAnally and two sisters, Rose Davis and Jane Waite.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold C. Young Sr; two daughters, Sandra (Robert) Gerwitz of Spokane, WA and Susan (Ed) Dyer of Tucson; son, Harold C. “Topher” Young Jr also of Tucson; seven grandchildren, Steven (Michelle) Gerwitz, Scott Gerwitz, Julie (Scott) Pomeroy, Jennifer (Sean) Coulbourne, Jamie (Allison) Quisenberry, Michael (Angel) Young and Jessica Young; seven great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
No formal service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
