SARGENT, Mary Elizabeth

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 6, 2007 Mary Elizabeth Sargent died March 1, 2007, in Snowflake. She was born March 10, 1925, in Pineville, Kent. Mary was married to Carl H. Sargent in July 13, 1949, in Phoenix. He preceded her in death in 1986. Mary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake. Mary is survived by her son, Carl H. (Jennifer L.) Sargent of Snowflake; and her daughters, Jackie Arney and Linda Prestwich. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Services for Mary will begin March 8 with a viewing at Silver Creek Mortuary from 4-6 p.m., followed by a graveside service March 9 at the Snowflake City Cemetary. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
