ELLIOTT, Eloise Mary

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 9, 2007 Eloise Mary Elliott, 83, died Monday, March 5, 2007, at the Plaza Healthcare Center in Scottsdale. She was born March 5, 1924, in Mt. Morris, N.Y. to John Warner and Flora Filena (Stilson) Perrine. Eloise grew up and attended school in Dansville. Following school she worked in numerous jobs until she married Glenn W. Elliot Jr. July 4, 1941; after which she was a homemaker. They made their home in Union Corners, N.Y. They made a few more moves in between before moving to Chandler in 1963. In 1992 they moved to Show Low to retire. Eloise enjoyed crafts, sewing, flowers and birds. Eloise is survived by her husband, Glenn Elliott of Show Low; sons Ken Elliott of Show Low, Gary Elliott of Chandler and Chris Elliott of Arizona City; daughters Susan Burt of Tucson, Sharon Matthews of Tempe and Gail Poindexter of Cabot, Ark.; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the First Baptist Church in Show Low. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, 8125 N. 23rd Ave. Ste. 22, Phoenix, AZ 85021-4961. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
