Jeremy Jay Cody, 29, died Feb. 28, 2007, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Jeremy was born in Whiteriver on June 11, 1977, to Jeff and Mary Cody of Whiteriver. Jeremy attended school in Whiteriver and graduated from Alchesay High School in 1995. He attended and graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in 1999 with a BA degree in computer information systems. He enjoyed working with computers, and he also liked fixing things. He worked with Whiteriver School District No. 20 from 2000 to 2005. He later moved to Albuquerque, N.M., and worked with Tricore fixing computers. He was kind, hardworking and had a great smile.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Jeff and Mary Cody; two brothers, Jonathan Cody of Pinetop and James A. Cody of Gilbert; two sister-in-laws, Mimi Cody and Shanae Cody; two sisters Sharalyn Cody and Kristy Cody; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by Ernest Cody, Lloyd J. and Elvira Ruth (Anderson) Bender.
A viewing was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fort Apache with funeral services held March 7. Interment was held at the North Fork Cemetery in Whiteriver.
