The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, October 20, 2010 Catherine Frances Tripp passed away quietly and peacefully on Sept. 26 in Surprise, Ariz. She was born Feb. 5, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minn. Catherine was a long-time resident of Wickenburg. She enjoyed many fine years living in the Westpark Community and spending time with her many cherished relatives and friends. Catherine was also very proud to have served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Tripp and her sons, Dennis and Leo Tripp. She is survived by her daughter Linda Payne and grandchildren Caras Payne, Bryan Payne and Andrea Payne. Final arrangements were made by David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home in Wickenburg. There will be a memorial service commemorating Catherine’s life on Tuesday (Oct. 26) at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11 a.m. in Wickenburg.
