Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, October 20, 2010 Josephine A. Madrid, age 96 of Miami, Ariz. passed away on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Globe. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on March 19, 1914, the daughter of Jose and Jesusita Apodaca. Josephine worked as a waitress at the Silver Front Restaurant. She is preceded in death by her husband Hilario Madrid in August of 1996. She is survived by her daughters, Nellie (Pascual) Olvera of Globe, Ariz., Helen Madrid of Globe, Mary Lou Madrid of Miami, Ariz. Betty (Jim) Pearson of Las Vegas, Nev., Aurora M. (Robert) Durnan of Catalina, Ariz., and Rosemary Madrid of Miami; her sons, Hilario (Kathy) Madrid of Tucson and Mike Madrid of Miami; and her sister, Anita Garcia of San Pedro, Calif. Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in Miami, Ariz. Rosary will follow at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Church. Interment will follow at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens. Assisting the family is Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
