SMITHSON, Mary Anne

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 13, 2007 Mary Anne Smithson, 72, of Vernon died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 200 at her home. Mary was born Oct. 10, 1934, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of William and Mildred (Faulkner) Brown. She was raised and attended school at Baltimore. She was a wife and homemaker for a number of years, later working as a manager at Wyatt's Cafeteria for 20 years. She lived in Ft. Worth from 1978 until moving to Vernon in 2005. She enjoyed puzzles and her dogs, "Pooh" and Missy Pooh. Mary is survived by a daughter, Eileen (Russell) Talley of Vernon; and a son, James (Nelva) Smithson, Jr. of Ft. Worth; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Services will be held in Ft. Worth at a later date. Arrangements by Black's Mortuary in Show Low.
