GUSTAFSON, Judith

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 13, 2007 Judith Gustafson, 61, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 6, 2007 after a short but valiant fight with cancer. Judy was born in San Antonio, Texas. She spent the majority of her life in California, where she met her husband, Bruce, in high school. They were married in 1961 and had a wonderful life together for the past 46 years. Bruce was able to retire in 1993 and they traveled extensively throughout the USA for many years. In 1999, they moved to Show Low from California. Judy loved trees! Judy was a passionate Christian who loved the Lord and was active in the church at Calvary Baptist Church in Show Low. She was an avid gardener, oil painter, quilter and china painter. Judy is survived by her husband, Bruce of Show Low; daughter, Brenda of Las Vegas, Nev.; son, Dan of Navarre, Fla.; brother, Charles Andrews of Port Angeles, Wash.; and four grandchildren, Joshua (serving in the Army), Jedidiah, Adam and Amanda. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Show Low at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16.
