Randy Shinn, 48, died Feb. 5, 2007 in Pasadena, Texas.
He was born April 15, 1958 in LaMesa, California to Archie and LaVera Shinn of Springerville.
He was a 16 year resident of Round Valley. Randy was loved and respected by all who knew him and had many friends. His closest and dearest friends were Wayne & Barb Kinman, who were always there for him. He loved his God and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Randy is survived by his parents, Archie Shinn, Sr. (He's in my heart always) and LaVera Shinn (Randy was my most precious gift from God) sons Randy Shinn II, Seattle, Washington, (Dad, thank you for teaching me to stand up for who I am, I love you) James Smith, Phoenix, (you'll always be in my heart, Dad) Larry Moore, Greer, (I love you and will always miss you. You meant the world to me) Tommy Moore, Plano,Texas, (I love you. You'll be in my heart forever) daughters Lisa Shinn, Tucson, (It's just another day in paradise, Dad. I understand and we will be ok. I miss you everyday and will love you always) Kari Smith, Phoenix, (Dad, the adults we are today, we owe to the father you were to us yesterday. Although we may not understand now, time will heal and your example we will always follow) 11 grandchildren, Hali, (I'll never forget my first fish papa. I love you more than you will ever know) and his grandmother Mary Shinn, Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Preceding him in death was one brother Archie Shinn, Jr.
All of Randy's children gathered at the home of their grandparents for a family memorial. No other services are scheduled.
