Eddy Mahlen Francisco, 48, of Kearny, lost his battle with cancer while visiting family and friends in Findlay, Ohio on Thursday October 14, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Eddy, a unique man, fought hard to win his battle with cancer. He never gave up, was always happy, always smiling, and had a nickname for every little child that had the pleasure of being with him.
From the time he was a young boy going to school in Kearny, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. The outdoors was his life. Not a day went by that he didn't talk about his past experiences in the sports, he so enjoyed. He was an avid hunter and fisherman until the end.
He is survived by his parents, Ed and Joyce Francisco of Kearny; stepsons, Denny and Brian Hutchinson of Weston, Ohio; a brother, Paul of Kearny; sisters, JuneAnn (Eddie) Bowan of Payson, and Robyn (Kenny) Boatman of Kearny; his grandmother, Patricia Finerd, also of Kearny; his long time companion, Danette Keeran and her family; and many nieces, nephews and close family members.
All services will be private.
