ROBERTS, Floyd E.

Floyd E. Roberts, 61, of Glendale, AZ passed away on January 5, 2004. He was born in Poteau, OK on July 14, 1942. He worked for APS for 23 years. Floyd was a hard-working and dedicated man who took pride in all he did. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He lived his life by treasuring all of his relationships. Married to his beautiful wife, Elaine for 42 years. They were never apart, they cooked together, sat together, gambled together, and gardened together. They loved each other more than themselves everyday of their lives. Floyd's jokes could make a room fill with laughter, even if it was the 10th time everyone had heard it from him. He would go out of his way to help a loved one, no matter the time or cost. Floyd is loved and will never be forgotten by (but not limited to), Wife, companion, and soul-mate Elaine Roberts. Sons, Larry and his wife Beth Roberts of Peoria, AZ, and Randy and his wife Christy Roberts of Glendale, AZ. And one of Floyd's pride and joy was his 5 grandchi1dren Amanda-18, Jared-17, Christopher-16, Katie-12, and last but not least Brittany-7. A celebration of his life will be held at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ on Thursday Jan 8, 2004 at 12 noon. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/7/2004.
