STEGER, Edward J.

Edward J. Steger, 86, of Peoria, died January 2, 2004. He was born on July 3, 1917 in Steger, ILL. 

Edward retired from AT&T in 1972. He worked as an engineer for 35 years. After retiring in Colorado, he and his wife moved to Peoria in 1974. 

He is survived by his wife, Helen, of 58 years, his daughter Karen, his son Tim (Spouse Reva), his son Keith, his eldest son Wayne passed away in 1989, seven grandchildren, and nine (soon to be ten) great grandchildren. 

A viewing service was held at Best Funeral Services, Tuesday, Jan. 6 in Peoria. Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Wed. Jan. 7. Burial at St. Francis Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Community.
