EAGAR, Neita

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 16, 2007 Neita Gibbons Eagar, 70, died Feb. 12, 2007 in Flagstaff. She was born June 28, 1936 in Eagar to Kenneth Edward Gibbons and Lona Grace Merrill. Neita was a Special Education Aide for Round Valley public schools. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She spent her life in service to others. Making memories with her family was very important to her. She loved to camp and quilt and supported Round Valley sports. She attended every game that she could. Neita is survived by her sons, Troy (Anna) Eagar of Flagstaff, Timothy (Chelay) Eagar of Eagar; Jason (Mistie) Eagar, Eagar; daughters Lana (Steve) Crick, Springerville; Tina (Leon) Slade; 26 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, brothers, Ronald "Son" Gibbons of Eagar; Kenneth Gibbons of Calif.; and one sister, Colleen Hamblin of Eagar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Eagar; and sister, Lisa Gann Davis. A visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary 535 North Main, Eagar. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center of Eagar. Interment will follow at the Eagar Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar, handled arrangements.
