BRITNELL, Curtis

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 20, 2007 Curtis Britnell went to be with the Lord Feb. 14, 2007. Curt resided in the Pinetop-Lakeside area with his wife, Shirley for 28 years. Curt was a very active businessman in the candy wholesale industry and owned TOPS Wholesale Candy for 10 years. He then semi-retired to manage a convenience station for another 15 years. His next career change was to be "papa" to all the young ones who knew and loved him. His memory and legacy will live on in all of those who knew him forever. He is survived by his bride of 56 years, Shirley; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Dayna; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 at the Blueridge Christian Center in Lakeside.
