VACCARO, Giovanni (John)

Giovanni (John) Vaccaro, 90, of Phoenix, A Man of Honor, passed away January 3, 2004. He was born on June 3, 1913. 

He leaves his devoted wife of 65 years, Nancy, son, Vince, daughter, Marie Miesowicz, five grandsons, four great grandchildren, brothers, Anthony and Joe, sisters, Mamie, Bertha, Katherine and Joanne. He was preceded in death by his brother, Croce. 

Mr. Vaccaro retired as Vice President of the Teamsters Union, Cleveland, OH, was a life member and officer of the Italian American Club of Phoenix. 

Visitation, Tuesday, January 6, 2004, A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, January 7, 2004, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 2312 East Campbell Avenue. Interment to follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Vaccaro's name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
