WEISNER, Naomi Grace

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Monday, October 25, 2010 Naomi Grace Weisner passed away Oct. 22, 2010, in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 78. She was born to Otha and Georgia (Schooling) Mason on July 24, 1932, in Peoria, Ill. Naomi made Lake Havasu City her home seven years ago from Temecula, Calif. She retired from Big Lots in Garden Grove, Calif., after many years of service as a clerk. She was a member of the Eagles in Lake Havasu City and was a volunteer and active member at the Senior Center. Naomi leaves behind her beloved family; son, Duane Weisner Jr., of Placentia, Calif.; daughter, Janet “Sue” Prentice, of Lake Havasu City; sister Topie Kieser, of Lake Havasu City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her longtime friend, Leonard Smith.She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Weisner, who she married on Nov. 19, 1952. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., at Calvary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Naomi’s name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
