WARD, John Michael (Dr.)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, October 24, 2010 Dr. John Michael Ward passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 17, 2010 at the age of 84. A native of New Jersey he graduated from William & Mary, University of Maryland Dental School and Columbia University. Dr. Ward was an orthodontist in Westfield, N.J. for over 30 years before moving to Prescott in 1996. He was the beloved husband of Colette for 54 years and proud father of Brian, Sarah, John, Jane, Jacquie and Gretchen and loving grandfather of 12. A memorial mass to celebrate his life is being planned at St. Joseph's Shrine in Sterling, N.J. in June 2011. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Church of the Street, 105 West Carleton St., Prescott, AZ 86303, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping the homeless for whom he had great compassion.
