The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, October 26, 2010 Helen H. Buescher Solberg was born to Freda (Sasse) and Edward Herschbach in Chester, Ill., Aug. 13, 1912. On Oct. 22, 2010, she went to be with her Lord and Savior. In 1942, she married Edgar M. Buescher and they moved to Prescott, Ariz., in 1944, where they resided the rest of their lives. Edgar passed away in 1970. In 1987, she married Lawrence Solberg and he preceded her in death in 1988. She has one daughter, Carolyn (Russell L.) Parker; two granddaughters, Angie (Sean) Taylor and Gina (Bryan) Nykerk; and two great-trigrandchildren, Elijah and Eva Taylor. Helen worked for the City of Prescott in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Later she worked for Southwest Savings and Loan as the Miller Valley Branch Manager until her retirement. With her strong faith in the Triune God, she has reached out to help many in need. She was loved and respected by those who knew her and will be greatly missed. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 213 W. Smoketree Lane, Prescott. Interment will be in Chester, Ill. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church; the Good Samaritan Society Hospice Compassionate Care Fund, 1065 Ruth St., Prescott, AZ 86301; or the Good Samaritan Society - Prescott Valley, 3380 N.
