Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 11, 1990, page 2-A Private cremation was conducted of William Arthur Grieves, 71, of Wickenburg, who died Jan. 3 in Glendale. Mr. Grieves was born Aug. 27, 1918 in Tonopah, Nev. He had lived in Arizona for the past 13 years. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 2160 in Wickenburg, and was a member of American Legion Post No. 12 in Wickenburg, where he served as post commander. Mr. Grieves is survived by his wife, Edna, of Wickenburg; two sons, Gilmore F. Grieves and Sgt. Chip Grieves, both of California; two daughter, Linda Lee Hammond of Arizona and Christine M. Anderson of California and eight grandchildren.
