Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 16, 1990, page 2-A Private services were conducted for Joseph W. Kanady, 65, of Wickenburg who died Jan.9 in Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City. Mr. Kanady was born in Arkansas in 1925. He had lived in Arizona for past nine years, moving to the state from California 1981. He was a mechanic for Chevron Oil Company for 36 years. Survivors include a daughter, Valorie Hawks, of Bakersfield, Calif.; a son Terry Kanady of Bakersfield, his mother, Della Nickols, of Taft, Calif.; five sisters, Velta Shaw and Frances Everett of Taft, Opal Johnson of Wenden, Asalia White of Cecil, Ark, and Jeanette, Jorgenson of Texas; three step children, Chreyl Galyan, Advid Burns and Latju; three grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
