Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, October 27, 2010 Mariana Enriquez Pacheco Acosta, 98, of Miami passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in Globe, Ariz. She was born on July 26, 1912 in Solomonville, Ariz., the daughter of Juanita (Juarez) and Lucas Enriquez. She was the eldest of seven children, all of whom have preceded her in death. Mariana was an infant when her parents moved to Miami, Ariz. She attended the Lower Miami and Inspiration elementary schools. During her second year in high school she married Baudillo Pacheco and moved to Texas. When widowed at the age of 23 she returned to Miami with three young daughters. She then married Pablo Acosta and they had a son and two daughters. Mariana is survived by her daughters, Genevieve Pacheco Aguilera, Ramona Pacheco Larson, Gloria Acosta (Gene) Ratto, Leonore Acosta (John) Hills; daughter-in-law, Lu Acosta, 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 28 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands Baudillo and Pablo, daughter Rosalie Pacheco Coughlin, son Paul Acosta and two grandsons. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W. Sullivan St., in Miami. Rosary will follow at 9:30 and mass will be at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens, Miami, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Mariana E. Acosta were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami.
