Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, October 27, 2010 Frederick Von Francis passed away Oct. 24, 2010, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 63. He was born to Conrad and La Vona (Humphrey) Francis Oct. 15, 1947 in Elwood, Ind. Frederick moved to Lake Havasu City seven years ago from Riverside, Calif. For the past six years he had resided at Havasu Nursing Center. Regardless of his hearing impairment, he never let anything stop him. He was an accomplished draftsman and artist when he lived in Garden Grove, Calif. Following that, Frederick did door to door sales, selling apothecary items, and other miscellaneous items right up to the time he lost his vision. He never met anyone he didn’t like and was liked by everyone who met him. He had so much patience with everyone. Frederick leaves behind his brothers, Carl, and his wife, Anne Reed and Chris and his wife, Donna, all of Lake Havasu City; nieces and nephews, Steve, Vince, Mark, Brian and his wife, Amy, Kayla and her husband, Kenny; great nephews, Ryan and Justin; great niece, Marley; and many cousins. Funeral services will take place Saturday, at 2 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Interment and graveside services will be on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at Perris Valley Cemetery, Perris Valley, Calif.
