Funeral Services for Margaret 'Peggy' Iler will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM the United Methodist Church, pastor Cutlipp presiding, with interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery.
She was born in Winslow Arizona in a yellow house on Cherry Street and named Margaret Darling. Being the younger of two sisters, Peggy.
Growing up in Winslow she was active in Rainbow Girls and Winslow High School activities. Peggy graduated In 1939. One of her passions was flying, she holds a light plane pilot's license. Attended business college In California. She married Frank Iler and eventually settled in Winslow.
She and Mary May Bailey (Styles) opened a ceramic shop called the PM Pot Shop. They ran the shop for many years. She was very active in the community, as a member of Eastern Star, the Hospital Auxiliary, and Friends of the Library.
She was alert and active until the day she went to be with the Lord. She loved Winslow and all the people. She was definitely one spicy enchilada that one!
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara DeNorch and husband Bruce; granddaughters Sara DeNorch, Emily Edwards and Jenny Wirt; three great grand children and her niece Margaret Davis.
She was proceeded in death by parents, Naomi and William Darling, her husband Frank ller, and her sister Elizabeth Davis.
