The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 12, 2008 Robert Kenneth Guthrie, 60, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, in Show Low. He was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Danville, Ill., to Robert Dean Guthrie and Violet Mae Tintorri. He married Karen Sue Johnson Dec. 20, 1976, in Georgetown, Ill. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. Some of his best times were teaching his grandchildren how to woodwork; he loved to build furniture. Robert loved to spoil his grandchildren and ride his Harley. He truly enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears play football with a glass of Jack Daniels in one hand and the TV remote in the other. A viewing was held Thursday, Dec. 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 320 N. 9th St., in Show Low. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Robert Kenneth Guthrie to the American Heart Association, 1280 S.
