Shirley M. Holladay, 67, of Lakeside died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at her residence. She was born May 24, 1941, at Deadwood, S.D., to Charles and Hilda-Mae (Deeble) Andress.
She was raised and graduated from high school in Deadwood. She married Dorian "Doc" Holladay May 6, 1982. The couple came to Show Low 30 years ago and operated an independent trucking company.
She enjoyed crocheting and birds. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lakeside Stake Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Claudette (Lee) Myers of Las Vegas, Nev., Candi Bitchen of Las Vegas, Nev. and Coleen (Jesse) Maxie of Rapid City, S.D.; sister Linda Weberg of Castle Rock, Colo.; grandsons Bryon Harrington of Hill City, S.D., and Damian Martin of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-grandson Jaxyn Harrington of Hill City, S.D.; niece Crystal Donner of Everette, Wash., and nephew, Robert (Erica) Weberg of Castle Rock, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Doc (Jan. 26, 2003).
A viewing was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lakeside Stake Center, Friday, Dec. 12. Bishop Jeff Moffatt officiated the funeral services.
Arrangements were under the direction of Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
