Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Sunday, October 31, 2010 Sandra Pelosi died on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, in Sun City West, Ariz., from recently diagnosed medical conditions. She was born in Paterson, N.J., in 1940 and graduated with a B.A. degree from Montclair State University in 1961. She also attended Columbia University in nearby New York. She was a teacher and a social worker. She had been living in Kingman since 2003 with her husband of 48 years, Angelo Pelosi, Ph.D. Besides her husband and their two sons, she leaves a brother on the East Coast. She was a member of the Kingman Republican Women, and as a soldier's angel she tirelessly wrote to our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. She liked the Arizona desert and the West. She enjoyed reading, working out at the gym, and watching old movies and old westerns. She loved driving her Pontiac Trans-Am W-6 Ram Air. She was a devoted mother and wife and will be greatly missed by her family. Any correspondence can be sent to P.O.
