Karen Amy Howe, 34, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at her residence in Show Low. She was born Oct. 26, 1974, in Show Low to Ivan William Thomas and Pamela Iberra Roger.

She is survived by her husband, James Howe Sr.; two stepsons, Christopher Cassels (Howe) and James Howe Jr.; parents Ivan and Pam Thomas; two brothers, Jessie (Julie) Hanson and Chris Hanson; four sisters, Melanie (Ernest) Hatcher, Lynn (Kib) Marler, Jennifer Thomas and Kimberly Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at the Show Low Second Ward Downtown Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All friends and family are invited to attend.
